I'm planning to see Blutjungs (german splatterpunk) next month. Hope it'll work out. Other then that, HGich.T is performing in Hamburg in mid-December, but I'm not so sure about that one yet.
i've got noone to go see Taake and Byfrost with me on Saturday, so I guess I won't be going.

Lucky! I was just thinking tonight of how I haven't seen them in a long time. Hm, I wonder if they ever go to Japan (I think maybe they did once or twice?)

Blutjungs won't be happening now, since I found out thay're not playing a regular gig but rather at some anniversary thingie which will swallow up most of the evening.

But I came across an Insomnium gig announcement yesterday. They're going to play here on Oct 24th, so I'll most likely go to that, even tho it's on a thursday.

I went to HAMFERĐ, CRIMFALL, TÝR and MOONSORROW yesterday.

It was way better than I expected. They played in one of the smaller venues of our most famous squat (next to the one Finntroll almost burned from heat 7 years ago), it's a small venue but it didn't get full so it wasn't hot at all.

Hamferð proved to be quite good. The slow music got to be a bit repetitive after a while, but that man has one of the best vocals I've ever heard. Crimfall I didn't enjoy that much, they're not up my alley with their music.

I was worried how Týr's going to turn out since I'm not that fond of their newer work, but I was pleasantly surprised at their gig. The sound wasn't the best and the setlist could use more older songs, but other than that, the band did very well with the energy of the gig and I liked their newer work live more than on the records. So thumbs up, I must give it another spin soon.

And then Moonsorrow, everything just worked perfectly. The sound was great, the setlist was well written, the band worked well with their material and with the audience. Just epic.

spinefest at sea 2012 with winzling & co in january and helsinki metal meeting in february.
i'd rather like to go to 70.000 tons but since i'll be kicked out of the u.s. immediately...

How long do you have to wait before they get off your back?

I might go to Negura Bunget next Thursday. Then more or less blank for the future.

untill they change the law :P i won't ever be allowed to go there.
