Ooh, games.
I play everything with swords, really. And then some strategy stuff and even some FPS too. I love PC games the most, and my favourites on that matter are everything from Bioware, everything from Blizzard (started with Warcraft: Orcs and Humans back in ´94

) and Heroes of Might and Magic- series. Doom, Duke Nukem, Worms, younameit. While I bombed myself through GTA series too, I also love the Medal of Honor- franchise and of course LucasArts ist krieg. It´s easier to name games I *don´t* like, hehe. I started with C64 in the mid 80´s and have been a gaming freak since then, evolving from 64 to 128, then into Amiga and ST and finally some 286 PC shit. :p
If talking about hobbies and enthusiasm, I have always loved games maybe the most, besides music ofc.
On the console matters I have to admit that even though I own a PS2 I never have got used to the goddamn "mushroom"- controllers. I use it mostly for car games with my son and we play occasional Buzz- stuff with the missus and friends, but otherwise I just find PC gaming the most interesting, mostly because I consider sitting in the front of your PC alone to be more "intimate" and "away from reality" than sitting on your couch. And as I play games 90% to get this great way of escapism, I find the combination of RPG´s and PC accompanied with some soda and an empty house

the best alternative. I remember wasting the whole summer 1999 just to bash HoMM III and listening to music, and it was one of the greatest summers for me ever.

Maybe 90% of my gaming is nowadays World of Warcraft, though, which I have been actively playing since "vanilla", October 2006. I´m mostly into PvP there and my favourite parts are open PvP, Battlegrounds and 2vs2 Arena. I do some raiding too, but as we´re a small guild, I lack the interest (and time TBH) to PuG any raids which might get me to see Ulduar or stuff like that. I also love the fact that I can play with nice people, who have already been or have become also IRL friends. I am a theorycraft fanatic, and may as well spend 2 hours on an Excel spreadsheet just to min/max stats, doing gear- planning or finding the right spell rotation for raiding. The missus thinks my fanaticism is annoying but she is pretty good on hiding it.

After all, I only have planned game nights maybe 2 nights a week, so it´s not that much.
Sorry for the wall of text, but GAMES <3
