I'm a big PC gamer myself. Dragon Age: Origins doesn't lure me in enough though. (Like crap loads of other people) I'm waiting for Modern Warfare 2. I do ask though, how are you finding Dragon Age?

The NPC:s I encounter during my travels ensures me that she's beautiful.

I really like it so far. It's quite difficult, which is rare these days, the characters are very likeable (except Morrigan who is a cunt) and the universe background is well fleshed out. The plot is pretty standard RPG fare: an ancient evil is threatening to bring about the end of the world and you and your rag tag team are the only ones who can stop it.

I'm trying to get my character to bone my tank, it's easier to gain approval now that I've found another caster and can exclude Morrigan. She expects my character to act like an asshole to everyone, if I don't she gets a steady negative approval rating because of the aforementioned reason. If I act like an asshole, my tank disapproves, which makes any in-party boning impossible.

I also wouldn't mind buying you L4D2 on steam, provided you paid me on paypal first.

The frustrating thing is that it isn't actually a censorship law, its a loophole that some religious cunt of a politician can exploit to "protect our children" from R rated video games. Anyway, no more raeg from me, on account of it making me raeg in the real world :|

Here's a small article regarding Austrlia: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/article ... 4-Dead-Ban

A character which could best be described as a bisexual latino elf assassin has joined my Dragon Age fellowship. Now that is just ridiculous.

Yeah, that sums up this particular situation quite nicely. If the compulsory internet filter does get off the ground, I'll be looking to leave Australia, I think. Love the place, but I won't be subjected to government censorship on such a level while living in a supposedly free-thinking western nation.

Ooh, games.

I play everything with swords, really. And then some strategy stuff and even some FPS too. I love PC games the most, and my favourites on that matter are everything from Bioware, everything from Blizzard (started with Warcraft: Orcs and Humans back in ´94 :D) and Heroes of Might and Magic- series. Doom, Duke Nukem, Worms, younameit. While I bombed myself through GTA series too, I also love the Medal of Honor- franchise and of course LucasArts ist krieg. It´s easier to name games I *don´t* like, hehe. I started with C64 in the mid 80´s and have been a gaming freak since then, evolving from 64 to 128, then into Amiga and ST and finally some 286 PC shit. :p
If talking about hobbies and enthusiasm, I have always loved games maybe the most, besides music ofc.

On the console matters I have to admit that even though I own a PS2 I never have got used to the goddamn "mushroom"- controllers. I use it mostly for car games with my son and we play occasional Buzz- stuff with the missus and friends, but otherwise I just find PC gaming the most interesting, mostly because I consider sitting in the front of your PC alone to be more "intimate" and "away from reality" than sitting on your couch. And as I play games 90% to get this great way of escapism, I find the combination of RPG´s and PC accompanied with some soda and an empty house :P the best alternative. I remember wasting the whole summer 1999 just to bash HoMM III and listening to music, and it was one of the greatest summers for me ever. :D

Maybe 90% of my gaming is nowadays World of Warcraft, though, which I have been actively playing since "vanilla", October 2006. I´m mostly into PvP there and my favourite parts are open PvP, Battlegrounds and 2vs2 Arena. I do some raiding too, but as we´re a small guild, I lack the interest (and time TBH) to PuG any raids which might get me to see Ulduar or stuff like that. I also love the fact that I can play with nice people, who have already been or have become also IRL friends. I am a theorycraft fanatic, and may as well spend 2 hours on an Excel spreadsheet just to min/max stats, doing gear- planning or finding the right spell rotation for raiding. The missus thinks my fanaticism is annoying but she is pretty good on hiding it. :D After all, I only have planned game nights maybe 2 nights a week, so it´s not that much.

Sorry for the wall of text, but GAMES <3

That is basically me back when I played PC games a whole lot. The first game I purchased with my own money was Warcraft II just a few months after release. I remember tracing the artwork from the manuals often, Samwise has made some great drawings for that series! :)
However, I went into Blizzard hibernation when WoW was released, I can't get into MMORPG:s no matter how hard I try. It just seems like a chore. Starcraft II and Diablo III should be done in a few years though, I hope.

The first few Sonic games had some great music. The newer Sonic games are shit though, and you can find the most terrifying personalities on the internet in the fanbase.
