Good & Bad about today

Anywhere that serves beer shall be spared, so long as it is served SCHNELL!!! And we have to leave the comic shops alone. I need some place to geek out on Magic and Spoils. Yeah, I still play the card games and they are still fun after all these years.

Good: Hours and hours of BBC doc's to watch: Treasures of the Anglo-Saxons(because Troll got me addicted to Dr. Ramirez, sexy woman), the 4-part Digging For Britain series, and the 4-part Inside the Medieval Mind series.
Good: Another bottle of Kraken rum hath appeared
Good: Greek Fest was today...I ate so well = Gyros, calamari, salad, greek fries, baklava, sooooooooooooo dericious.
Bad: Wish I had a woman to share all of this with, but alas, all the good ones are either taken or dating my friends. It's definitely time to begin the hunt. Beware Europe, the wolf is on the prowl.

I was referring to Trollhorn's new blog entry. Eventhough they are far from the new album, his writing there gives me that good feeling that not all is idle.

Bad: 10 days of antibiotics.
Bad: The weather is supposed to turn ugly on us today. It was 28 yesterday and it's supposed to be 7 tomorrow. I feel like someone left out spring and autumn in the last years, we have summer - winter - summer - winter ... And sometimes they swap during one week and swap again in the next.
Good: My "thesis" is progressing well. But now I'll take the weekend off.
Good: Sibelius' Finlandia in concert tomorrow.

Beer is served very fast there. When your mug begins to become empty you get a filled one automatically. You don't even have to ask for it.

Bad: I accidentally bought Hofbräu Zitrone instead of regular Hofbräu.

Good: Came from a nice Offenbach/Mozart/Sibelius concert.
Bad: Some volunteer work tomorrow. Nothing wrong with the thing itself, but I find it silly that the unemployment office asked me to do this. Volunteer work. How about a job?

Good: New Game of Thrones episode in a few hours
Good: Cleaned off the bookshelves and separated things to sell...never realize how much crap you have until you start trying to sell it.
Good/Bad: May have a job offer to teach English in Thailand, all inclusive and they will even pay a one-way ticket. I get word of this just when I am about to put a deposit on the course in Prague. Only days to decide and I am struggling with the decision.

Oh no! Be careful with that. I didn't know I was allergic to sulfa antibiotics, and I kept taking them after a rash started. I ended up exploding into a full-blown, dangerous allergic reaction and my whole body looked like ground beef for 2 weeks. Be safe!

Bad: Still no job. Seems to be a lot of us on here!

Bad: My leg has started to hurt again. It first started some eight weeks ago, one morning out of nowhere, so I just thought it to be leftovers from a cramp that I didn't notice in my sleep. But it took forever to go away, much longer than a usual cramp would take...and now it's back all of a sudden.

Now I'm afraid I can't really be safe. I ether take antibiotics to get well with the other thing and risk these rashes or I don't take them and not get well. Probably I'd then need new antibiotics and start this process all over again. But I know, I'm monitoring if it gets way worse, in that case I'd go see my doctor. But so far I just get a couple of new dots per day (for 4 days already and I was fine the first 3 days) and I only have 3 more days to go, so I'm hoping for the best. It might not be allergy, just side effects.

Good: Finished writing that thesis/project.
Bad: The program is broken so I can't turn it in.

Good: My girlfriend made surprise supper for me. I don't know exactly what it was, some kind of pasta-mushroom-cheese stuff with hot green pepper, but it was very good.
Good: The idea of a lángos party has born in our heads. Lángos rocks.
Bad: By the way I should see my old senile doctor for my leg again. It started to hurt 8 years ago. I saw him for my leg twice so far, the first time he diagnosed diabetes, the second time virus infection. Virus infection is a very surprising diagnosis for leg pain lasting many years, not to mention that he told me that it would heal in one or two weeks without any treatment. I wonder what he will say next time, I hope he will be a little more efficient.
