I wasn´t supposed to play there, but due to some things I have to step on the stage after all. So, yes, I will be attending but not in the role you´d first imagine. :D

So somebody else will be missing, but not Virta? It would be wildly hilarious if it was Vreth and you'd do the vocals :D

But waaaait ... If you're there, you can do clear vocals next to whatever you're doing! Slagbröder? (Wishful thinking :))

"We will see," said the blind man.

10 more days!
One beer to rule them all.
One whiskey to find them.
One vodka to bring them all
and in the drunkness bind them!

Finally!

...Though I also am quite curious of what you mean.

And if you would like to find me Ärväthyyll, I'm incredibly easy to spot. I will likely be the smallest or one of the smallest people in the entire venue, at 148cm.

Heh, I'd imagine knowing his affinity at guitars(Moonsorrow) he'd be handling one of the string instruments, since he's not in his "normal" role and I don't think he'd replace Vreth or BD :P But well, it'll be something unique for the people there nonetheless!

Yesterday was fun :) Nosturi sadly seemed only half full and either the sound on the balcony was bad or Vreth is still very quiet, like during the tour. But now to the good stuff:

'Twas nice to see Trollhorn on stage, playing guitar (even changing them in between). He looked very ... well, I'm quite sure "sober" is not the right word :D

The gig started with Strauss' Also Sprach Zarathustra going wrongly, then some Monty Python's "And now for something completely different", and then it cut into Blodmarsch. So some unexpected fun right at the beginning. The setlist was the standard one from the last tour (written on the back of a cereal (pizza? something?) cardboard that they pushed around the stage to each other). Under Bergets Rot has a new intro, Eye Of The Tiger :D, and Aallotar says Maktens Spira's new solo was actually Detroit Rock City, but I'm not that familiar with Kiss. Anyway, lots of surprises and quite a fun gig because of that :)
Dachaz would love this, because when the gig ended, Trollhorn danced with Skrymer to the tune he likes to sing all the time (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32UGD0fV45g). Videos of this should appear on YouTube eventually since just about everyone was recording it :D

I took some crappy photos from the balcony, also of the audience moshing and I even think I got kituvan_kiitos in the front row.

@ kituvan_kiitos - Sorry for the really short hello, but after the gig we ran out of the hall to catch the ride home, I couldn't find you anymore.

Well, I was more drunk from the adrenaline and nervousness than alcohol, actually. :D I also almost forgot to drink anything during the show, and only had two sips of beer on the whole time. Then I destroyed about two cans in a row after getting away from the stage. :P
Nice if you liked the gig, though! We had to do the same setlist the guys played in Europe because of me, as I had to get a 100% confirmed setlist fast when I started to rehearse the songs.
And yes, it was Detroit Rock City. ^^

I kinda hope to have the chance to do this again, it was such a fun. :D Trololol!

A fitting end for a concert, "I Am Glad, Cause I'm Finally Returning Back Home". :D (That´s what the original title of "Trololololol" is, apparently. Or more exactly "Я очень рад, ведь я, наконец, возвращаюсь домой". :P

Anyway, great concert! Shame about the half empty hall, though.

Great show indeed! I was a little surprised myself about the small number of people in the audience. I guess people had other things they needed to do on New Year's Eve. So far I think that was the best Finntroll show I've been to, especially since Trollhorn was finally playing!

It was nice meeting you, Ärväthyyll, however brief it was. I'd recommend staying downstairs next time; people in the balcony are always so boring. I never see anyone headbanging up there, or even waving their arms in the air. Were you at the show the next day? I was able to secure lodging with some friends of a friend, so we were able to go. That night it was almost packed!

Sounds like a great gig :D I am intrigued by the change of guitar solo on Maktens Spira, to Detroit Rock City. I am familiar with the song, but having trouble trying to hear in Maktens Spira :D
