I got my first yesterday, it's right on my forearm. I was expecting it to hurt like hell, but I kind of liked the feeling.

I got a couple,been getting and redoing them since i was 18-which was more than 25 years ago.

I got a Frank Miller batman,a devil girl,a left eye(odin or osiris-you decide) a Grendel samurai,some hot rod flames,crossed pipe wrenches,Japanese smoke,a norman heraldic lion,celtic braid,Inuit syle killer whale,my wife's face,a line from a Soul Asylum song,Dragon,and a hot rod space ship with a rockabilly little green man driving.Oh yea and Mjolnir on my neck.
i think that's all of them.

I'm coming up zeros on a pic that shows most of them,maybe i'll take a new one.Some of my tattoos i wouldn't get now,but i'm different from the person i was back then.That's what they are-a roadmap of where you were at certain times of your life.Even though i wouldn't choose some of them now,i regret none of them.

Oh phew, it means what I thought. That's good.
The story behind it is that there is none. Finnish is a beautiful language, and I'm very fond of this word and its meaning, as well as for the fact that I think the font suits it.

It's an eye on my wrist. There's no real meaning to it, I simply love eyes.

behind me is my drums and gtr/amp-this is the room i rock the nation in.The drums used to be my sons when he was in middle school,which is where the green day sticker comes from.

Mats wishes to clarify that he has not been a fan of Green Day at any point in his life.

Here is the first tattoo which i made it on 15 years but i usually put cream to cover it...i hope that for about a month i will cover this tattoo with this baby!
